Dock Marina Boat Tours

"Atlantic Adventurer could well be the best way of experiencing the maritime beauty that is Newfoundland. A 46 ft. ketch, it can handle big ocean swells well enough to track down icebergs and whales yet navigate narrow harbours for a hike through some of the provinces outports ... the small settlements along this rugged coastline". (excerpt from the adventure magazine - Explore)

Atlantic Adventurer is a trawler sailer, fully certified by Transport Canada. Due to its unique design features, the vessel provides the spacious and luxurious accommodations of a trawler yacht, coupled with all the diversity, excitement and satisfaction of blue water sailing. There is a large heated pilothouse, inside and outside steering, a fully equipped galley and two private staterooms with private heads (bathrooms). The spacious deck makes an excellent platform to view and photgraph wildlife.

Sails, Whales, Birds & Bergs
Our guests relive the sensations of the early explorers who arrived in Trinity Bay by sail, 500 years ago. Sightings of humpback, finback and minke whales are quite common all summer long. Icebergs drift past our shores in late spring and early summer. See bald eagles and the many species of northern seabirds that nest in the cliffs and on islands in our immediate area and we sail past a spectacular, rugged coastline. You can help us raise the sails and steer the vessel or just sit back, relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Duration: 2 - 2 ½ hours
